EXAMPLE #1 : MAKE-UP COURSE

We conducted a make-up course (arts) for a group of abused victims - women and teenage girls - from a shelter. The trainer, who was matched to teach the course, is a past sexual abused victim.

Beyond being equipped with a practical life skill, the women and girls from the shelter experienced a renewed sense of hope as they heard the testimony of an overcomer and the trainer a renewed sense of purpose.

The programme created a safe space for healing and restoration to occur organically as community was forged when personal stories were shared.

EXAMPLE #2: APP DEVELOPMENT
TECHNOLOGY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

Through this 6 month programme, we hoped to help beneficiaries develop a sustainable livelihood.
